Baseball's Alex Call Named Academic All-District

Alex Call, a sophomore member of the Ball State baseball team, has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District Five Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Call has made 102 career starts and has reached base safely in 94 of those contests. He leads the Cardinals with a .349 batting average and is second on the team with 37 runs-batted-in. Call also leads Ball State with 22 multi-hit games and is second with 10 multi-RBI contests this year.
Call owns a 3.95 cumulative grade-point average on Ball State's 4.0 scale as a entrepreneurial management major.
He will now be placed on the national ballot for the Capital One Academic All-America Team that will be selected by CoSIDA.
