Football's Eric Patterson Signs with NFL's Patriots

Eric Patterson, who completed his Ball State football career last season, has signed a free agent contract with the National Football League's New England Patriots.

“Eric has had the goal of playing in the National Football League and we are pleased he is getting the opportunity to pursue his dream with the Patriots," Ball State head coach Pete Lembo said.

Patterson joins Jahwan Edwards as Ball State student-athletes who completed their careers in 2014 and have signed contracts with NFL teams.
