Baseball Home Opener Rescheduled for Wednesday

Ball State's baseball team will host Miami University?Wednesday at 3 p.m. on the new Field Turf field at Ball Diamond in the First Merchants Bank Ballpark Complex.
The game was originally slated for Tuesday but postponed due to weather conditions.
The Cardinals are 7-7 this season after completing their Spring Break Trip in Port Charlotte, Fla.? The Red Hawks are 2-8 overall.
Ball State defeated Maine and Dartmouth in Port Charlotte after beating 25th-ranked Illinois in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Elbert Devarie and Alex Call lead the team with a pair of .367 batting averages through the first 14 games.? The duo, along with Ryan Spaulding, are tied for team-high honors with nine runs-batted-in apiece.
Admission to all Ball State home baseball games are free of charge.
