Gymnastics Set for Final Regular Season MAC Meet

Ball State's gymnastics team will compete at Kent State Sunday in its final Mid-American Conference regular-season competition.
The Cardinals will face the Golden Flashes at 2 p.m. Sunday before completing the regular season March 13 at Kentucky with Pittsburgh. Ball State will return to Kent, Ohio, to compete at the MAC Championships March 21 at 2 p.m.
Ball State is 2-3 in the MAC and has won two of its last three league competitions -- over Western Michigan and Northern Illinois.
"It is important as we head into March that we continue to work on all the details of our performance," Ball State head coach Joanna Saleem said. "We have to continue to build each week as we get closer to the Mid-American Conference Championships. We are hitting a nice rhythm."
The Cardinals will face a Kent State team that is 5-6 overall and 1-3 against conference competition.
