Lomax Leads Track & Field On Day One Of Meyo Invite

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - - Senior Rebecca Lomax (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) placed fourth in the high jump to lead the Ball State indoor track & field team on the first day of the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame at the Loftus Sports Center.
In addition to placing fourth in the high jump by clearing a height of 1.67m, Lomax finished 39th in the 60m hurdles with a career-fast clocking of 9.15.
Junior Christina Crawford (Belleville, Mich./Romulus) and sophomore Ariel Hune (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) also turned in career-best performances in the 200m dash, placing 69th (26.17) and 74th (26.64), respectively.
Action in the two-day Meyo Invitational concludes tomorrow, starting at 10 a.m. with the women's 3000m run and 10:30 a.m. with the women's triple jump.
