Gymnastics Team at Southern Utah Monday

Ball State's gymnastics team heads to Southern Utah Monday for a 7 p.m. (MT) meet in the Centrum Arena in Cedar City, Utah.
The Cardinals will face a SUU team that will be competing in its second home meet in four days. The Thunderbirds are coming off a 195.675 to 195.650 loss at home to Brigham Young Friday night.
Ball State last competed Jan. 23, in a home meet with Central Michigan and the Cardinals suffered a 196.175 to 193.775 loss. The 193.775 score was a season best for Ball State as were the team's event scores on the vault (48.825), bars (48.975) and floor exercise (49.025).
Following the trip out west, the Cardinals will compete at Bowling Green Feb. 8, before returning home for its Think Pink and Alumni Meet Fri., Feb. 13, vs. Western Michigan.
The meet vs. Western Michigan will be televised by Ball State Sports Link. The competition can be seen live on www.ballstatesports.com, channel 57 on the Ball State campus, Comcast Indiana and Comcast Michigan. The start time is 7 p.m. in Irving Gym of the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center and admission is free for all fans.
