Softball Helps Blood-N-Fire Feed Local Families

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State softball team spent this past Wednesday (Oct. 29) helping local families in need by volunteering at the Blood-N-Fire food pantry.
On the last Wednesday of every month, community members in need of extra food assistance are invited to Blood-N-Fire to receive free groceries. Attendees are welcomed with drinks and snacks, plus may choose which available food items they prefer.
During its time at the pantry, Ball State's softball student-athletes helped 211 families with almost 5800 items of groceries.
