Football Adds Illinois to Future Schedules

Ball State has announced the addition of Illinois to its future football schedules. The Cardinals will play at Illinois Sept. 2, 2017.

“We are constantly working to develop a football schedule that is in the best interest of our program,” Ball State athletics director Bill Scholl says. “It is a delicate balance to create a competitive schedule that fits into the mission of our football program. We believe the Illinois game is a good fit for our program and look forward to the game in 2017.”

Ball State and Illinois have met one time previously in the 2007 season.
