Football Sets Game Times for 2013 Season

In conjunction with the Mid-American Conference, Ball State has announced its football game times for the 2013 season. Of the 12 regular season games, at least four will air on the ESPN family of networks, while a minimum of three other games will be available on ESPN3.
Ball State's Nov. 6, home game vs. Central Michigan at Scheumann Stadium will kick off at 8 p.m. on national television on ESPN2. The Cardinals Nov. 13, game at Northern Illinois will kick off at 8 p.m. and air nationally on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. Ball State's regular season finale is Nov. 29, in a home game vs. Miami University at a time to be announced and will air on either ESPNU or ESPN3.
The Cardinals will open the season Thurs., Aug. 29, with a 7 p.m. home game vs. Illinois State, while Ball State will host Army Sept. 7, at noon in its second game of the season. Both of those games will also be available on ESPN3.
Ball State's Sept. 14 game at North Texas will kickoff at 4 p.m. and air live on Fox Sports Net.
The Cardinals Sept. 28, home game vs. Toledo will begin at 3 p.m., as will the Ball State vs. Kent State Homecoming contest Oct. 12.
Under the direction of head coach Pete Lembo, Ball State finished the 2012 season with a 9-4 overall record and a trip to the St. Petersburg Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl.
