Baseball's Hazelbaker Comes Home
May 31, 2013 | Baseball
A 2009 fourth round pick of the Boston Red Sox, Jeremy Hazelbaker is one of the more recent Ball State baseball products to venture out on a pro career. It wasn't until this week, however, that Hazelbaker's career finally brought him back to the Hoosier State.
Now in his fifth season with the Red Sox, and his first full year at Triple-A Pawtucket (RI), Hazelbaker played four games at Indy's Victory Field this past week. BallStateSports.com caught up with Hazelbaker and his family to talk about coming home and playing in front of the local fans.
Make sure to keep an eye out in the coming weeks for our full-length chat with the '09 All-American about his time as a Cardinal and his journey through the minor leagues.
