Ball State senior centerfielder Wes Winkle was a preseason All-MAC selection prior to this year. Then Winkle began 2013 on a 1-28 skid. It certainly wasn't the start the Cardinals senior was gunning for. But then something clicked, and over the last month Winkle's turned into one of the MAC's hottest hitters. His success was highlighted last weekend at Eastern Michigan when he went 5-7 on Friday and homered Saturday.
