Brittney Emmons Named MAC Senior Gymnast of the Year

Brittney Emmons was named the Mid-American Conference Senior Gymnast of the Year for her 2013 season with the Ball State Cardinals.
Emmons, who was earlier named to the All-MAC First Team, was competing in her fifth season after coming back from a season ending injury in the 2011-12 season.
She tallied a first-place finish on the vault with a 9.850 mark at Northern Illinois, and tallied eight top five finishes on the season.
Emmons managed a first place on the bars in a home meet vs. Penn and Centenary, while recording three top five finishes on the bars.
On the floor, Emmons tied for first vs. Western Michigan and posted five top five placings on the event during the season.
Emmons managed five first-place finishes as an all-around performer during the season.
