Baseball's Cody Campbell Wins MAC Weekly Award

Cody Campbell, a junior on the Ball State baseball team, has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for his performance in the Cardinals four games in Nashville, Tenn., last weekend.
Campbell batted .471 in Ball State's four games. He helped the Cardinals to a 2-2 mark in the contests vs. Bradley (2 games), Northwestern and Lipscomb.
Campbell had eight hits in 17 at-bats, including four runs-batted-in and four runs scored. Campbell also added one double and one triple in the four games. He was 5-for-9 in the two games vs. Bradley, 1-for-4 vs. Northwestern and 2-for-4 at Lipscomb. Campbell's slugging percentage in the four games was .647.
In addition, Campbell received the MAC Player of the Week award from College Sports Madness.
Ball State, 3-4 on the season, will continue their schedule with a three-game series at Morehead State Friday through Sunday.
