Football's Jordan Williams Receives MAC Weekly Award

Jordan Williams, a sophomore wide receiver on the Ball State football team, has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Cardinals 42-24 victory at Akron.
Williams caught a career-high 12 passes for 124 yards and matched his career high with two touchdown catches in Ball State's win at Akron. The 124 yards receiving marked his third 100-yard receiving game this season.
This marks the first player of the week honor for Williams in his two seasons at Ball State. It marks the seventh time this season a Ball State football player has been honored by the MAC.
Ball State, under the direction of head coach Pete Lembo, improved to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the MAC with the victory. The Cardinals will remain idle until a Wed., Nov. 6, home game vs. Central Michigan on ESPN2 at Scheumann Stadium.
