Football Team Honors the Memory of John Huffer

John Huffer, who served as a Ball State photographer for over 30 years and shot thousands of athletics events, is being honored with a JH helmet sticker.
Huffer, a decorated longtime university photographer and teacher, died in late September and the football team is honoring his memory each and every game this season.
Many staffers wore stickers with his name at the Sept. 28 game vs. Toledo, and when Jahwan Edwards was asked his first question at the postgame press conference, he took a moment to talk about Huffer.
“Just wanted to say rest in peace to Mr. Huffer,” Edwards said. “He was a good guy that I built a relationship with having his class. I just see these stickers and I start thinking about him. Just wanted to play for him today.”
