
Men's Tennis Suffers 6-1 Loss at Northern Illinois

DEKALB, Ill. - The Ball State men's tennis team lost on the road to Northern Illinois Saturday afternoon by a score of 6-1. The Cardinals are now 14-8 overall and 0-1 in the Mid-American Conference.
Ball State clinched the doubles point winning on court one and court two. The Cardinals duo of Dalton Albertin and Ray Leonard took down Dor Amir and Axel Lagerlof 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. Zane Smith paired up with Derek Carpenter and beat Maximilian Phillips and Frederic Cadieux 8-2 at the No. 2 spot.
The Cardinals then dropped all six of their singles matches, both Leonard and Alexandre Brym took both of their competition to three sets but lost on their respective courts.
