Women's Golf Places 4th; Jenna Hague Wins Event

Ball State's women's golf team placed fourth at the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic, while Jenna Hague won the event with a 74-74-75=223.
The Cardinals managed a 314-310-302=926 to finish fourth out of 13 teams, while Akron won the event with a 914. The tournament was played at Arlington Country Club in Richmond, Ky.
Hague, a freshman at Ball State, posted her first career collegiate victory, while posting her fourth top-10 finish of her first season.
Zoe Camus tied for fifth with a 76-78-74=228, while Autumn Duke tied for seventh after carding a 79-78-72=229.
Katie Windlan managed an 85-82-83=250 to tie for 57th, while Meghan Perry tied for 29th as an individual competitor. Perry posted an 80-76-82=238.
Ball State's Sarah Westaway managed an 80-81 in the final two rounds, but her first round score was disqualified for a rules violation.
The Cardinals will return to action Saturday and Sunday at the Indiana University Invitational in Bloomington, Ind.
