Gymnastics Team at MAC Championships Saturday

Ball State's gymnastics team will complete its season at the Mid-American Conference Championships Saturday at Central Michigan in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
The Cardinals are 4-8 overall and 2-4 in the MAC. Ball State tallied league victories over Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan in 2012. The team posted a season best score of 194.025 vs. Bowling Green March 2, at Ball State.
Nicole Allen has been one of the team's top performers this season. She owns Ball State's best score on the vault this year with a 9.900 at Michigan State, which was a career high for Allen. She is tied for the team's best beam score with a career high 9.750 at Michigan State. Against the Spartans, Allen also posted the school's top all-around score with a career high 39.150 at Michigan State.
Julie Cotter has won the bars five times this season and owns the team's second best score on the bars with a career high 9.825 at Northern Illinois and vs. Eastern Michigan.
Aftyn Siemer owns Ball State's best floor routine with a career high tying 9.85 vs. Bowling Green. Siemer won the floor exercise at Illinois State and vs. Bowling Green and tied for first in the home meet vs. Illinois State. She tied her career high with a 9.800 on the vault at Northern Illinois, which is the second best mark for the Cardinals this season.
