Gymnasts Battle Nationally Ranked Teams Sunday

Ball State's gymnastics team will compete at West Virginia against the Mountaineers, Auburn and Ohio State Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Cardinals are 1-4 on the season, while West Virginia is ranked No. 24 in the nation with a 5-2 mark. Ohio State comes into the week with a 3-2 overall record and ranked 11th in the nation prior to hosting Iowa Friday evening. Auburn is ranked 13th in the nation despite an 0-3 overall record.

In the Cardinals last meet at Northern Illinois, Julie Cotter won the bars with a 9.825. Nicole Allen won the vault with a 9.825, while Aftyn Siemer was second on the vault with a 9.800. Angie Hosbach tied for third on the floor with a 9.775.
Ball State will return to action Fri., Feb. 17, in its THINK PINK MEET vs. Eastern Michigan at Ball State's Irving Gym at 7 p.m.
