MBB Hosts Southern Illinois In Sears BracketBusters

MUNCIE, Ind. - The 2012 Sears BracketBusters pairings have been announced and the Ball State men's basketball team will host Missouri Valley Conference member Southern Illinois Saturday, February 18 at Worthen Arena at 2 p.m.

Ball State has been part of the BracketBusters event since its inception 10 seasons ago as the Mid-American Conference is a charter member of the event. The Cardinals are a host team for a BracketBusters game for sixth time in program history and the first time since the 2009-10 season (Tennessee-Martin).

Ball State enters the week with a 12-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in Mid-American Conference play to sit in a tie for second place in the MAC West Division. Southern Illinois enters the week with a 7-15 overall record and a 4-7 mark in MVC play.
