Football Releases Preseason Depth Chart

With 20 days left before its season opener at Lucas Oil Stadium, Ball State head football coach Pete Lembo announced an initial preseason depth chart.
"As we pass the midway point of preseason camp, there is still quite a bit of playing time up for grabs," Lembo says. "We are trying to promote positive internal competition at all positions. Our attitude and physical effort has been good, but we have to improve across the board in terms of our focus and attention to detail. This next week will be critical as we work to improve our consistency."
The Cardinals will open the 2011 season vs. Indiana Sept. 3, at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the National Football League's Indianapolis Colts.
