Allison Pennock Named to Athletics Position

Allison Pennock, a former letterwinner for the Ball State softball program, has been named the school's assistant director of compliance and operations.
Pennock earned four letters as an outfielder for the Cardinals from 2006-09. She helped the Cardinals to the school's first-ever Mid-American Conference Regular-Season Championship as a senior. Pennock batted .256 for the Cardinals and started 52 of the team's 53 games, and was second on the team with four triples. In addition, she tied for second on the team with 17 stolen bases and managed a .951 fielding percentage.
After earning her bachelor's degree in public relations, Pennock served as the graduate assistant for compliance and operations from 2009-11, while earning a master's degree in sports administration.
Pennock is the daughter of Gregory and Susan Pennock and is a native of Waterloo, Ill. She was inducted into the Gibault Catholic High School Hall of Fame at Gibault Catholic in February 2011.
