
Men?s Swimming & Diving Falls to Michigan State

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's swimming & diving team suffered a 167-121 setback to Big 10 foe Michigan State Saturday afternoon at Lewellen Aquatic Center.
Ball State posted wins in seven of 16 events, with two Cardinals collecting a pair of individual event victories.
Junior Michael Weber (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) posted a victory in the 100 back, clocking in at 53.23, and also swam the first leg of the first-place 200 medley relay (1:34.71), joining seniors Gavin McNeeley (North Manchester, Ind./Manchester), Chris Krupa (Indianapolis/Pike) and Casey Schroeder (Williamsport, Ind./Seeger Memorial).
McNeeley also tallied a win in the 100 breast (58.39), while Krupa added first-place efforts in the 200 fly (1:53.07) and 200 IM (1:57.70) and Schroeder posted victories in the 50 free (21.48) and 100 free (47.58).
Head coach Bob Thomas and the Cardinals return to action Friday, Jan. 13 as the Ball State hosts Eastern Illinois at 6 p.m. from Lewellen Aquatic Center.
