Women's Volleyball Picks Up More Votes In AVCA Poll

MUNCIE, Ind. - - With wins over Toledo and Buffalo last week, the Ball State women's volleyball team captured eight votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll.
The Cardinals, who now own a 22-3 (11-1 MAC) record this season, appeared in the poll for the first time this season last week with three votes.
With its eight votes this week, the Ball State women's volleyball team climbed past Duke in the others receiving votes section.
BSU, which is 33rd in the latest NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball RPI rankings, will embark on a pivotal MAC road trip this weekend as it visits Western Michigan (Friday at 7 p.m.) and Northern Illinois (Saturday at 7 p.m. CT).
Both WMU (NCAA RPI of 28) and NIU (NCAA RPI of 20) are one match behind the Cardinals in the race for the MAC Regular Season and MAC West Division titles.
