Ball State's women's gymnastics team will host Central Michigan in its Mid-American Conference opener Friday night at 7 p.m. in Irving Gym.
The Cardinals are 0-1 on the season after suffering a loss at Pittsburgh last weekend.
Nicole Allen led the team in that meet with a first place finish on the floor with a 9.750 and a tie for first on the vault with a 9.700. She competed in the all-around against the Panthers and managed a career high 38.100.
Allen and Mackenzie Pacovsky were Ball State's top performers on the bars with a pair of 9.550 scores. Tiffany Brodbeck and Aftyn Siemer managed a pair of 9.575 scores and were tops for the Cardinals on the beam.
The event is free admission for all.
