The Code Red Dance Team is a group of entertainers with a vast stage to project. One's show qualities must be strong, with the smile and eye contact to reach many fans. A Code Red Dance team member is a bright, outgoing, pleasant, enthusiastic and well-rounded individual. You must be able to be a part of a disciplined unit that projects positive support toward one another, toward the coach, towards the Code Red Dance Team, Ball State University and the community.

A Code Red Dance Team member must be physically fit and well-groomed. Weight/appearance is monitored and recorded periodically throughout the season. The overall look should be coordinated and neat with an image of self-assurance.
You are not required to have any material prepared for the audition. The skills that are to be performed at auditions include, but are not limited to, a jazz/stylized routine, a hip-hop/funk routine, double turn, and leap series.
