Gymnastics Team at Illinois State Friday

Ball State's gymnastics team, under the direction of third-year head coach Nadalie Walsh, will compete at Illinois State Friday at 7 p.m.
The Cardinals posted their second best score of the season last Sunday at Northern Illinois with a 191.500. Ball State also posted its best team vault score of the season at NIU with a 48.200 and its second best floor team score of the year with a 48.425.
Morgan Coslow posted her first career win as a collegiate student-athlete with a career high 9.725 on the vault at Northern Illinois. Brittney Emmons managed her fifth first-place finish on the season with a 9.850 on the floor exercise.
Emmons has won three floor exercise individual titles in Ball State's four meets this season plus has won the all-around once and tied with teammate Nicole Allen for first on the vault in the season opener.
After competing at Illinois State, Ball State will return home for three straight meets at Worthen Arena. The Cardinals will host Bowling Green Sun., Feb. 14, in the team's "Think Pink" meet at 1 p.m. Ball State will host Texas Woman's and Illinois State Sun., Feb. 21, at 1 p.m., and return to Mid-American Conference action Sun., Feb. 28, vs. Kent State at 1 p.m.
