Bibiana Rodriguez Earns MAC Gymnastics Weekly Honor

Bibiana Rodriguez, a senior member of the Ball State University gymnastics team, has been named the Mid-American Conference Co-Specialist of the Week for her performance in the Cardinals' three-way event vs. Illinois State and Texas Woman's last week.
Rodriguez tied for second on the bars with a 9.750 mark en route to helping Ball State to a pair of wins in the three-way event.
She shares the weekly award with Danielle Durbin of Kent State.
Rodriguez is currently tied for 11th in the NCAA Central Region on the bars. She owns a career best 9.875 on the bars, which she accomplished earlier this season in a dual meet with ISU. Rodriguez won the bar competition at Illinois State and at home vs. Bowling Green Feb. 14, before finishing second last Sunday.
The Cardinals will host Kent State Sunday at 1 p.m. in a dual meet at Worthen Arena. Admission to the event is free of charge.
