MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State women's volleyball team is featured in the latest edition of Dave Reed's weekly volleyball notebook on ESPN.com.
The Cardinals open play in the 2010 MAC Tournament Friday as the No. 1 seed and will face No. 8 seed Toledo in the 4:30 p.m. quarterfinal match at the SeaGate Centre in Toledo, Ohio.
Ball State finished the 2010 regular season with a 24-4 overall record, including a 14-2 mark in MAC play. The Cardinals earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament as the league's regular season champions. It is the eighth MAC title in program history and the first for BSU since the 2002 season.
