Gymnastics Team at Northern Illinois Sunday

Ball State's women's gymnastics team will return to Mid-American Conference action Sunday with a 2 p.m. (CT) meet at Northern Illinois. The Cardinals are 3-3 overall and 0-1 in MAC action, while the Huskies stand at 2-1 overall and 1-1 against MAC foes.
Brittney Emmons has led the Cardinals thus far this season with three outright first-place finishes and one tie for first. Emmons has finished first on the floor twice, once in the all-around and tied with teammate Nicole Allen for first in the vault in the season opener. Emmons has a season high 38.525 in the all-around plus has posted Ball State's top scores in the vault (9.725) and the floor (9.900).
Emily Wehrle is coming off a first-place finish on the balance beam in last week's home meet vs. Southeast Missouri State and Illinois-Chicago. Wehrle posted a 9.725 last week to win the beam.
Led by third-year head coach Nadalie Walsh, the Cardinals have posted a team high 192.850 at New Hampshire and managed a 190.325 in their own Cardinal Classic last Sunday.
