Men's Tennis Wins Both Matches

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team improved to 2-1 on the season after capturing 7-0 victories over Dayton and Valparaiso Friday at the Muncie Northwest YMCA Tennis Center.
The Cardinals took on the Dayton Flyers for its early match and then faced the Valparaiso Crusaders in the night cap. Ball State went ahead early in both matches after winning the doubles point. At No. doubles the BSU twosome of Andres Monroy and Zane smith defeated Dayton's Michael Rohana and Matt Sherman 8-1. Monroy would then pair up with Dalton Albertin to earn the 8-1 win over Valpo's due of Tom Litscher and Kyle Stump.
Ball State won all 12 of its singles matches on the day in two sets.
The Ball State University men's tennis team will take on Big Ten foe Purde in West Lafayette Saturday, Jan. 30 at Noon.
