Getting To Know BSU's Alisha Green

As a junior for the Cardinals last season, Alisha Green ranked first on the team with 330 kills, including 15 matches with 10-or-more markers. She smashed a BSU career-high 21 kills in the Cardinals win at Miami (Oct. 25). Her 90 total blocks also led the team.
Green, who participated in the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team open tryouts after joining the Ball State program in January of 2007, earned two letters at Tampa from 2005-07. While with the Spartans, Green was a 2007 AVCA All-America Third Team selection and a 2006 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention. Green earned NCAA National All-Tournament Team accolades after helping lead Tampa to the 2006 NCAA Division II National Championship.
Green's prep career began at Hillcrest H.S. where she earned three letters. A three-time all-conference selection, she was team captain and MVP as a senior.

Best moment of your volleyball career? The weekend against Bowling Green and Miami.
