Getting To Know BSU's Jennifer Boyd

As a freshman for the Cardinals last season, Jennifer Boyd was an All-MAC Second Team selection in addition to being named to the All-MAC Freshman Team. Boyd finished the season ranked fifth in the conference with a .313 attack percentage, while ranking second on the team with 70 total blocks. She also logged 206 kills for a 1.91 kills-per-game average.
Prior to joining the Cardinals, Boyd earned three letters at Seneca Valley where she played while being homeschooled. A two-time All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League First Team Selection, she helped guide the Raiders to a pair of Section AAA Championships, as well as a WPIAL Championship over her career. As a senior she posted 122 kills and 103 blocks, while guiding the team to a 16-3 overall record. She also earned four letters in track, and was a four-time team Most Valuable Player for the track program.

Favorite place to visit? My grandparent's house in Florida
Best volleyball road trip? The bus rides

Do you have any annoying habits? I twitch a lot

Pre-match ritual? Review the scouting report and think about everything I have to do during the match and imagine myself doing it
