Coverage of The Ball State Game: The game will be broadcast on the Mizzou Sports Network with Beau Baehman on play-by-play duties and former Iowa State Cyclone Anne O'Neil as the color analyst. The game can be found on Fox Sports Midwest in Mid-Missouri. WCRD (91.3 FM) James Rider and Kyle Binder.
Scouting Ball State: The Cardinals enter today's game with a 3-3 record after defeating North Dakota, 89-77 in their final away game in the month of November. Ball State split over the weekend in its Thanksgiving North Dakota trip after suffering a 57-65 loss at North Dakota State last Friday. It was a record breaking weekend for senior guardy Audrey McDonald as she had her 100th career start and also became the all-time three point record holder for the Ball State women's basketball program with 254 three points to date. Junior foward Emily Maggert grabbed her sixth career double-double vs. North Dakota after scoring 20 points while pulling down 16 rebounds. Senior forward Danielle Gratton averaged 16 points and 7.7 rebounds in last week's competition.
Scouting Missouri: The Tigers enter today's game with a 3-2 record with wins over Northern Iowa (74-57), Indiana (76-71) and Florida A&M (69-65). Missouri has lost to Memphis (75-74) and most recently to Florida State (73-66). The Tigers have four players averaging in double digits with senior forward Amanda Hanneman leading Missouri averaging 16.8 points per game. Last weekend Missouri split 1-1 at the Seminole Classic. Ball State is the lone Mid-American Conference opponent that Missouri will face this season. The Tigers are coached by Cindy Stein who is in her 12th season as Missouri's head coach.
