MUNCIE, Ind. -- Tuesday's doubleheader between Ball State and Eastern Illinois has been cancelled due to rain. The games have been rescheduled for April 22. The first game will start at 2 p.m.
Ball State is currently 16-12 after going 9-4 over spring break. Amanda Pick leads the team with a .325 batting average and three home runs. Alicia Barkley and Lisa Rozanski have made an impact on the team as freshmen.
Barkley has started every game at shortstop for the Cards. She leads the team with 28 hits. Barkley is hitting .315 with two doubles and 10 RBI. She also has 11 stolen bases and has scored 12 runs for BSU.
Rozanski leads the team in runs scored (20), and in steals (18). At this rate she will challenge Heather Hinkle for the most steals in a single season. Hinkle set the record in 1998 with 37 stolen bases.
The Cardinals are scheduled to host Butler in a doubleheader on March 20.
