BOSTON, Mass. ? Redshirt senior Amber Williams placed fourth at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships.

Williams entered the meet as a nine seed out of 16 entrants. She finished third in her heat with a qualifying time of 8.24.

Williams set a personal best time in the final meet with a time of 8.16. Her previous personal best was 8.19 set a season ago at the Indoor Mid-American Conference Championships.

Lolo Jones, the defending 2007 USA Indoor Champion, won the race. Candice Davis, 2007 NCAA Indoor Runner-up, finished second and former All-American Kellie Wells placed third.
