Opening Statement
“The game was a tremendous game. It was exactly what you would think it would be for 60 minutes of two very good football teams slugging it out and playing hard. You knew with these two teams that have a lot of good football players if you look at their talent level and what they can do and our talent level. It was a game where our kids were resilient they did a great job of leaning on each other and making some plays when we had to make some plays. It was a fun place to be, it was a good win for us and we have another big challenge probably a bigger challenge on Tuesday with

A: “Central came out and we wanted to hold them, but they did a nice job and went down and scored. I think our offense did a nice job with the momentum and answered back. Nate did a nice job with a couple of scrambles and making some yards.”

Q: What does it mean to your program to have MiQuale run the ball the way he did in the fourth quarter?
A: “Obviously it is awfully big. Our offensive line did a nice job of taking over the line of scrimmage and playing well together. Everybody wanted to make this the LeFevour and Davis game. It always comes down every week to the guys up front on both sides of the ball. If you watched how Quale finished drives and he ran north to south which I thought was big.”
Q: Reflect on how resilient your older players were in the game at
A: “The senior class and the fifth year guys have really persevered. Gerberry and Ramsey playing

A: “We have got a lot of work to do in six days. They have a tremendous offense especially with Tim Hiller and his growth. This is going to be a huge test for us. I know we have got our work cut out for us.”
