Nate Davis Earns MAC Weekly Honor

Nate Davis (Bellaire, Ohio/Bellaire H.S.), a junior quarterback on Ball State's nationally ranked football team, has been selected as the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Ball State's 45-14 win over Northern Illinois last week.
Davis completed 18-of-22 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions to help the Cardinals improve to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the MAC. This marked the second time this season Davis has won the weekly award. He also received the honor after his performance in the Cardinals win over Eastern Michigan Oct. 25. Ball State will play at Miami University Tuesday in a game televised nationally on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
