Football Team Moves Up in AP Poll, Ranked in USA Today Poll

Ball State's football team improved to 7-0 with a 24-7 victory at Western Kentucky Saturday, and moved up to 24th in The Associated Press Poll plus has made its debut in the USA Today Coaches Poll with a ranking of 25th.
Ball State, under the direction of sixth-year head coach Brady Hoke, is off to a 7-0 start for the first time since the 1965 season. The Cardinals received 166 points in the AP Poll, while receiving 135 in the USA Today Poll.
Ball State, which is 3-0 in Mid-American Conference play for the first time since the 1993 campaign, is idle this week and will return to action Sat., Oct. 25, with a home game against MAC foe Eastern Michigan.
