Football Announces Future Non-Conference Schedules
January 23, 2008 | Football
The Ball State University athletics department has announced future football opponents, including a five-game series with Army
"We are excited about our upcoming schedules in a lot of different ways," Ball State athletics director Tom Collins says. "We have a great quality of opponents with a good balance of home and away games. Football scheduling is a very difficult task when trying to get the right blend of all the factors involved, but we are pleased with the way the next few years play out for the Ball State football program."
The previously announced 2008 schedule will feature a Thursday night season opener with Northeastern, a home game with Navy and road games at in-state rival Indiana and a return game at Western Kentucky.
The 2009 schedule includes a home game with North Texas State and road games at Army and Auburn. The Army game is the first in a five-game series, while North Texas State is a home and home series and the Auburn meeting is a single contest.
