Rose Lehe Earns Academic All-MAC Honors

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Senior Rose Lehe (Wolcott, Ind./Tri-County H.S.) has been named to the 2007 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team.
The 30-member team was voted on by the league's Faculty Athletic Representatives from among a list of student-athletes who have excelled in both athletics and academics.
This year's Academic All-MAC squad is highlighted by eight repeat honorees from 2006 including Ball State's Lehe. Lehe is majoring in dietetics and holds the highest grade point average on the team at 3.93.
Lehe was named First Team All-MAC for her performance at the MAC Championships. She recorded a first place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Lehe finished in 10:46.87, her fastest time of the season.
Lehe has also competed in the 1500-meter run with a best time of 4:47.39.
Lehe will be in action Saturday May 26 at 6:40, as she will compete in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Regional Championships.
