
Women's Tennis Suffers 4-3 Loss at Miami

OXFORD, Ohio - The Ball State University women's tennis team (8-12,2-6 MAC) had a near win in its last regular season match but lost 4-3 to Miami on Saturday afternoon.
The RedHawks started the day winning at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead over the Cardinals.
Ball state's freshman Sophie Quist tallied a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Katrina Lomidze. At No. 3 junior Jennifer Pollack pulled off a 6-3, 6-3 win against Linda Jirouskova. Freshman Christine Stromberg also won in singles action after beating Kristen McPhillips 7-6, 6-3 at No. 4.
Ball State will head to Toledo for the Mid-American Conference Tournament on Thursday, April 26.
