Elizabeth Milian Named MAC West Division Pitcher Of The Week

MUNCIE, Ind. ? Freshman Elizabeth Milian (Grand Blanc, Mich./Grand Blanc H.S.) has been named the Mid-American Conference West Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office April 2.

The award is the second in Milian's career. Milian went 3-1 with an ERA of 1.38. In each of her four starts she went the distance and threw four complete games to total 26 innings pitched.

Milian had nine strikeouts and only walked three batters. She only gave up four earned runs in the four games she started and threw a one-hitter against Indiana on March 28.

Milian and the Cardinals will travel to Charleston, Ill. to play Eastern Illinois in a doubleheader April 3 at 4 p.m.
