Ball State Football All Access Video: Spring Practice

MUNCIE, Ind. -- As the final week of Ball State's spring football practice begins, ballstatesports.com's Peter Carr takes you to Scheumann Stadium for a special series this week.
Beginning Monday through Thursday, fans can watch special video packages on the progress of the Cardinals.
Ball State will complete the spring portion of practice with the annual Spring Game Sat., April 21 at Noon at the Scheumann Stadium Practice Fields.

Special Team Coach Dennis Moynihan and Coach Hoke break down the special teams.
Wednesday:
Defense
Defensive Cooridnator Mark Smith and Coach Hoke give fans an update on the defense.

The Cardinals finished the 2006 season with a 5-7 overall record, including a 5-3 mark in the Mid-American Conference. Ball State posted five conference wins in a season for the first time since the 1996 campaign, and ended the season with three wins in the final four games. The Cardinals played seven games on television in 2006, including two on national television on ESPN2 and ESPNU, while an eighth game was shown on ESPN 360. Ball State posted a 3-1 record in MAC road games last fall, and set single-season records for most yards passing, most passes completed, most touchdown passes thrown and most first downs passing.
