
Men's Tennis Captures 6-1 Win Over MAC Opponent IPFW

MUNCIE, Ind. - After a three-match losing streak the Ball State men's tennis team (9-13, 3-1 MAC) rebounded with a 6-1 win over IPFW in Mid-American Conference action Wednesday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
For the second day in a row the Cardinals managed to win the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead at the start of the match. BSU took all three of the doubles matches with Joe Epkey and Jose Perdomo leading the way with an 8-4 win over Nabil Mourad Filho and Renan Constantino at No. 1. The doubles success was followed by twosome Jarrod Epkey and Jorge Rodriguez with an 8-5 defeat over Arturo Salgado and Nathan Toles at No. 2. BSU duo Aaron Phillips and Jimmy Brannon ended doubles action after tallying an 8-1 win against David Lynall and Hermann Kuschke.
