The Ball State softball team has named Caroline Cubbage as a graduate assistant coach for the upcoming 2008 season. Cubbage holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management from Lynchburg College.
While attending Lynchburg College, Cubbage was a student-athlete playing softball in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Cubbage was a three-time All-American and a two-time ODAC Player of the Year. She held a career batting average of .459 and led Division III softball in home runs during the 2006 season with 19. In 2007, Cubbage returned to lead Division III in walks with 56.
Here at Ball State, Cubbage joins head coach Craig Nicholson and his assistant Stephanie DeFeo. Cubbage is currently working on her master's degree in Athletic Administration.
