Women's Basketball Announces Postseason Awards

Junior guard Kelsey Corbin was honored as Most Valuable Player of the 2005-06 Ball State women's basketball team. Her selection was announced at the team's annual post-season awards banquet Sunday, May 14 at the Alumni Center.

A tri-captain, Corbin started 28 games, averaging 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Her 4.1 assists average was first for BSU and ranked among the top-10 in the Mid-American Conference this season. Corbin, who was also honored with the team's Cardinal Pride Award, earned Academic All-MAC accolades for the second-straight season.
