Gymnastics Places Fourth at Outback Invitational

Junior Kaitlyn Wills was BSU's top finisher in the all-around competition tieing her personal-best of 37.775 points. Wills scored a 9.575 on vault, 9.075 on bars, 9.450 on beam and 9.675 on floor.
Junior Jenna Tarkington was the top scorer of the night recording with a mark of 9.775 on vault. Kelly Watson added BSU's top score on bars with a score of 9.275, while sophomore Erica Gilkerson notched a season-best score of 9.750 on floor.
Overall, the Cardinals recorded scores of 47.900 on vault, 45.050 on bars, 46.150 on beam and 48.225 on floor.
BSU wraps-up the regular season with two meets next weekend. The Cardinals will compete against Kentucky and Air Force in Lexington, Ky., Friday beginning at 7:30 p.m. Then the squad heads to Kalamazoo, Mich., Sunday taking on Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan beginning at 1 p.m.
