Gymnastics Falls to Western Michigan

Sophomore Erica Gilkerson posted strong scores for the Cardinals tieing for third-place honors on both beam (9.525) and floor (9.700). Gilkerson finished fourth in the all-around competition with an overall score of 37.875.
Junior Kelly Watson placed third in the overall competition with a score of 37.900. The junior tied for third on beam and fifth on vault with a score of 9.525 on both events.
Rounding out top-five finishers were junior Kaitlyn Wills finishing fourth on bars (9.550) and fifth in the all-around competition with a mark of 37.400 and sophomore Kristin Sprague placing fifth on bars (9.500).
Overall, the squad recorded team scores of 46.925 on vault, 46.925 on bars, 45.975 on beam and 47.000 on floor.
