Myers represents the only Ball State graduate to serve as head football coach for the Cardinals, managing a 15-14 ledger from 1968 to 1970. He lettered as a senior end on Ball State’s only unbeaten, untied football team in 1949 and was offensive line coach for the Cardinals when they enjoyed their only other undefeated regular season in 1965.

Myers compiled a 75-48-3 mark in 14 years of high school coaching.
